Uniform

Our school uses the Tesco School Uniform Embroidery service which donates 5% cash to school every time you purchase from them.

Our Uniform at Hemingbrough Community Primary School

In order to maintain a strong sense of identity and belonging, we require all pupils to wear school uniform which consists of:

  •          Purple Sweatshirt / Purple Cardigan (preferably with School Logo)
  •          White Polo Shirt
  •          Black Trousers / Skirt / Pinafore Dress
  •          Gingham Dress  - Purple (preferably)  or Blue

Footwear

  •          Black, low heeled shoes / boots (not ‘Ugg’ boots or similar), suitable for outdoor play
  •          Trainers should not be worn except for specified PE lessons
  •          Open toed shoes, strapless/strappy sandals or ‘Crocs’ should not be worn 

PE Kit

  •          Plain Shorts / T-Shirt
  •          Trainers / pumps as required
  •          Tracksuit Trousers / Tops as required
  •          Long hair should be tied up

Make-Up

No make-up or nail varnish should be worn at any time.

Headwear

Children are not permitted to wear hats of any kind inside, unless they are of religious significance. Small headbands/clips may be worn to keep hair away from the face but should not be worn as items of fashion.
